1. The short version
HighStakke is a free social casino with no accounts, no payments and no personal profiles. The data we touch is minimal: a few values stored in your own browser, the messages you choose to send us, and the ordinary technical information any website receives when a page is requested. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising networks on this site.
2. Who we are
The website highstakke.com is operated by HighStake Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its office at 70 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6SQ. For any privacy question you can write to support@highstakke.com. We are the data controller for the limited processing described below.
3. What we store in your browser
The site keeps two small values in your browser's local storage: your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and your answer to the cookie banner. They never leave your device, are not transmitted to our servers and can be removed at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings. The play-money balance shown inside a game belongs to the studio's demo and is not stored by us.
4. Contact form and email
If you send a message through the contact form or email us directly, we receive the name, email address, subject and text you provide. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the site. Messages are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted, unless a longer period is required to resolve an ongoing matter or by law.
5. Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data when pages are requested: IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring page and timestamp. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, are kept for a short rolling period and are not combined with any other data to identify you.
6. Embedded games
The slots on this site are loaded in embedded frames served directly by their studios (for example Play'n GO, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Blueprint Gaming and Mascot Gaming) in demo mode. When you open a game, your browser connects to that studio's servers and the studio may receive technical data or set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We do not receive any of that data. A game frame is only created when you press "Play Free" or scroll to the demo panel on the home page; nothing loads before that.
7. Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interest to keep the site secure and functional, and on your request when you contact us. We do not process special category data and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Because we hold so little, most requests can be resolved by clearing your browser data or by a single email to us. We respond within one month.
9. Children
HighStakke is intended for adults aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, please let us know so we can delete the message.
10. Where data is stored and for how long
Our website files are hosted on servers located in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Contact messages are held in a mailbox operated from the UK. We keep server logs for no longer than 30 days and contact messages for no longer than 12 months, unless a specific matter requires longer. Nothing is transferred to countries outside the UK or EEA, and we do not use processors in other jurisdictions.
11. Who can see your data
Only the four members of the HighStakke team have access to the contact mailbox and the hosting account. We do not share, rent or sell information to advertisers, data brokers or affiliate networks. We would disclose information only where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a UK authority, and we would tell you about such a request where we are legally allowed to.
12. Links to other websites
Our pages link to responsible play organisations such as GamCare, BeGambleAware, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous, and the embedded games are provided by independent studios. Those sites and services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them. We recommend reading their notices before sharing any information with them.
13. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and contains no login, no payment flow and no database of users, which removes most of the usual attack surface. The contact mailbox is protected by two-factor authentication. If we ever became aware of a breach involving personal data, we would notify affected people and the Information Commissioner's Office within the timeframes required by UK GDPR.
14. How to exercise your rights or complain
Write to support@highstakke.com or to HighStake Ltd, 70 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6SQ. Tell us what you would like us to do, for example delete a message you sent, and we will confirm once it is done. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
15. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will also be mentioned on the home page for a reasonable period.
